The
American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys is an exclusive, membership
organization serving the needs of attorneys and law firms nationwide. Academy members
focus on one or more of the following areas: estate planning, elder law, post-mortem
services and financial services. Members are equipped with the legal research and
education it takes to serve consumers with the highest quality advice and documents.
The main focus of the Academy is to provide attorneys with the type of support that
allows them to spend most of their time meeting with clients instead of unraveling
business related issues inside of their practice.
The Academy fosters excellence in planning and complete wealth care services among
its members through:
- Up-to-the minute legal education on law changes, planning
techniques and document options.
-
State-of-the-art software and training for complete (basic and advanced)
document assembly and law firm management.
- Superior seminars, tools
and materials to assist members in educating
consumers in their communities.
- A
member's-only website containing thousands of pages of materials for
building an efficient law practice.
- Effective
personal websites featuring substantive legal content, a seminar reservation
system, and top-notch site designs for member law firms with impressive search results
on prime search engines.
- Comprehensive one-on-one coaching to support
attorneys as they add other services, employees or systems to their practice.
-
Continuing Education standards are frequently exceeded by Academy members.

“I have used virtually every aspect of the Academy from education to what furniture to purchase. I found that with the basic practice building systems I would do better to follow the Academy method almost to the letter. Whenever I have felt I had a better way, I almost always lost valuable time and revenue. We currently use the AAEPA software exclusively for the living trust and related documents. We use the AAEPA documents for other trusts, as well, except for one or two of the more technical trusts.”
