About Lisa Weidler

Lisa has been one of our support engineers for over nine years. She works with members to solve a variety of advanced problems with software, hardware and networking. Lisa works with the programmer in development of new features and is responsible for testing prior to (and after) release of the software.

Professional Experience

Starting at the Academy with over ten years of experience in the computer industry, with an emphasis in technical support and troubleshooting, Lisa was extremely knowledgeable about major server platforms, workstation operating systems, and a vast number of software applications. She has extensive skills in hardware configuration, network design and communications. She was the technical support engineer for Vitek, Gigatrend, Inc. and Stac Electronics. Prior to joining the Academy, Lisa was the MIS (Manager of Information Services) at VCC, a group of five non-profit clinics in North County.

Education

Lisa attended college and studied a variety of subjects, but much of her comprehensive knowledge of computers comes from years of experience. She also completed a course in Microsoft Access in 2007.

Personal

A long-time resident of California, Lisa spends her free time with her husband, Greg, and their three young sons - Gregory Jr, Jacob and Chase. She is also an assistant Sunday school teacher at their church.
