As a Technical Support Engineer, Jeff works with the rest of the Technical Support team to help provide Academy members with technical answers regarding a variety of problems including software, hardware, and networking.

Jeff works closely with each Support staff member and necessary Academy departments to help ensure that technical questions are answered effectively and efficiently.

Jeff has over 12 years experience in Information Technology with strong skills and knowledge in networking, databases, technical support, and working in a Windows environment. Prior to joining the Academy, Jeff was a Network Administrator and IT Manager in the Tanning industry where he worked with tanning salons and tanning bed manufacturers, assisting them with setup and support of information technology solutions.

Jeff has also worked throughout the Midwest as a consultant on various IT contract projects. Near the beginning of his career, he dabbled in web design as well as working in the accounting and finance arenas. Jeff is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he received the Air Force Achievement Medal for outstanding job performance.

Jeff has a M.S. degree in Management Information Systems and a B.S. degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. He is currently working on various IT certifications with plans of specializing in the areas of Networking and Information Security.

Jeff currently resides in Central Illinois near the state capitol of Springfield. He is married, has two daughters, and devotes most of his free time to his family. Otherwise, he enjoys golfing, fishing, camping, playing basketball, and reading. He is also a big fan of college sports.
